BioI grew up in Southern California, first in Orange County, then in Newport Beach. My Grandmother raised me and five sisters. I got hooked on rowing in high school and that led me out to Boston University for college. I studied Computer Systems Engineering and rowed all four years at BU. I graduated in 2000, married my college sweetheart and got a job in Boston. I've had the chance to travel around the world for my job, and now I'm back in school working on my master degree part time.
